Like  a whirlwind  you  came,

For  an  eternity  you  stayed.

Like  a lovelorn  lass,

I  kept  sinking

Deeper  and  deeper

Until ,

I  drowned  in  your  love,

I  reached  to  the  centre,

Where  love  absolute,

Held  it’s  axis.

I clung  to  it

Whirlwind’s  don’t  stay  ,

But   you  did.

And  I  still kept  drowning,

Deeper and  deeper I  did.

I  saw  the  unimaginable,

I felt  the  absolute,

I saw  the  supernatural,

Even  beyond it.

You  were  the  galaxy ,

I was  the  star  in  it.

You  were  the  song,

I was  the  music in  it.

You  were  the  soul

I was  the life  in it

You  were the   love

I   had  always  wanted

You  were  my  night,

You  were  my  day.

I   held  my  breath,

 You  stole  away.

We  are the images 

That  merge  into  one

Into  the minds

We  coalesce  again

We are  the souls

That  sing  in unision

The  happy  songs 

Of  love  everlasting

And  since the  day  you  came

Like  a  whirlwind  in  my  life
